The setting for my short story is in the country near a big city. It is in a colonial style house. Big, simple, white paint, black shutters. It is on a large area of land with a hill. It is not surrounded by other house. In the back of the land there is a forest with old small buildings in it that no one really knows what they are used for.
The Gullivers' (the people who own the home) are an old English family that has been in the United States since the way beginning. Every year they have a party on the fist day of Spring, granted it's not raining. They are getting older now and need help with the planning so they hire a college student named Lilita who is on spring break. The reason she isn't with her friends over break is because she happened to fail all of her classes. No surprise since she didn't even want to go to college in the first place.

ReplyDeleteI like how it's an english family. i like english people. I think you should add more of a conflict in your story. i think it could really spice it up (haha).
